The individual stones are distressed so that, when laid, they

will emulate the appearance of traditional English flooring

which has been worn over many, many years. 

The surface opens slightly and the edges of the tiles become

slightly rounded and uneven.This is a gently applied finish

which reflects the light and produces a floor which is easy

to maintain.
