Description

Extracted by the Johnston Quarry Group on the Great Tew Estate, Oxfordshire, this distinctive stone is -

a medium to course grained limestone which is variably compacted, in shades of browns to russet

with blue areas which oxidize to brown over time and some fine mineral grains.

Sawn six sides to regular courses, laid with fine joints - this module is found in tradional styles

but also eminently suited to modern building concepts and designs.

Our standard range is sawn –

         100mm on the bed

Stone can be free length or sawn to specified lengths and to specified heights.

Non standard depths are available to order as are other specified English Limestones
